Moreover, they argue that not everyone will feel something towards the excerpt, like Arely claims, because some people do not care or react differently to the same situation. Finally, they end their analysis by claiming that her conclusion was too generalized and bias, but one of the reasons could be Arely's lack of time to expand her research.

The topic of the discussion is on the a true definition of discourse communities in the modern age.  The main discussion for the subject is  on the different definitions of what a discourse community can be. In this research article the author Isabella Mercado, analyzes the over dramatization of paranormal activity. The research focuses towards the effect on how people react and feel about the stories that are personal paranormal experiences. When these stories are portrayed among the people, they are affected by several factors that are mentioned such as language and social media. These two factors are able to portray these personal paranormal experiences differently. The manner that social media affect these stories are losing its value towards how these stories are represented and the actual paranormal experience compared to exaggerated frightening music, or menacing creatures/figures. As for language, it is predetermined. They are words that can mean one thing or another when it is not implied intentionally. Paranormal activity and experiences are seen among different eyes, words, and feelings. They all vary among the person. Ask yourself how will you portray a personal experience?
